SOLD

I purchased these from swt and while I enjoy them they aren't going to unseat either my modified HF-1s or HD650s enough to warrant sticking around and not getting used.

Steve's description remains unchanged:

[edit]added my own pics, see post below.

Since receiving them I have cleaned them and reterminated them to a single 4-pin XLR (k1000 pin config) but I can change them back to the dual 3-pin setup if requested. Asking price is $200 shipped and paypaled in the US (insurance extra at buyer's option) and I will entertain international offers from members with established feedback. I will also consider trades of equal value.

Please PM with any questions or offers and feel free to check my feedback if you have any concerns about dealing with me.

Thanks for looking.

Nate

As you can see the headphones are in fantastic shape. The silver rings show few if any signs of use, the pads are nearly new (worn less than 10hrs) and the elastics function perfectly. The last pair that I saw in this nice sold for more than I'm asking.

These really are in absolutely fantastic condition.

The Fitz braided Black Clover cables covered in soft, nonmicrophonic nylon sleeving are beautiful, and an excellent sounding cable. The condition and the cables make this a bargain IMO.

Nate if someone wanted these terminated in a standard 1/4" plug for a single ended amp, is that possible?

Yes, or I could include a 4-pin to 1/4" adapter cable.

Also, I'd be willing to trade these straight up for a pair of HD600s in similar (very good) condition.

You would be hard pressed finding another Sextett in such good condition. You could easily spend more than this just trying to buy Sextetts on ebay, and winding up with junky ones (like I did), and then they still wouldn't be restored, with new internal foam, rescreened, and recabled like this.
