This one arrived brand new yesterday. After Passion for Sound's review, I had to try it. What he says is true, but what's also true is that for me this is too much of a good thing when paired with my OTL tube amp.

Use time: about 2 hours. Therefore as new. Will ship it exactly as it arrived here.

Shipping is included in price, but EU only due to weight. Will ship same day via tracked post.

I would strongly prefer payment by bank transfer. This is because I am reaching the rolling 12-month Paypal limit for non-commercial accounts, this as a result of trying so much gear and selling it on if it's not a perfect match in my setup. Check feedback to get comfortable.

Thanks for the suggestion. I read in more than one or two reviews that the Violectric V200 smears the top end, that some detail is lost. Is this your experience too? Maybe they fixed it in the V280? But then I would be unwilling to pay for the V280 because I absolutely do not plan to use balanced out and a good part of the cost of that amp must be due to the balanced architecture.

I have not heard that about the V200 and I don't have one. @Shane D has one, I believe and @Fegefeuer knows the Violectric line pretty well.

I LOVE my V220 and I find the sound very full and pleasing with authoritative bass. I do wish it had balanced output, but that is what the Liquid Platinum is for.

I love the clean, bassy sound of the V220 with my efficient 'phones (Grado GH2's, Meze 99 Classic's and Fostex TH-610's). It also mates nicely with my Senns (HD600's and HD660's).

It makes me VERY curious about the V280, but it is just too pricey for me.
