Audeze LCD-MX4 is the reference studio model of Audeze. These headphones are probably the best headphones for studio work in the world. Of course they are very well suited for Hi-End headphone system. Another great fact about this model - it is very sensitive - 105 dB/1mW and with low impedance - 20 Ohm. So it is not power hungry and can be used with practically any source.

Headphones in absolutely mint condition (like new, never used) with full accessories from manufacture, including: 1.9 m 1/4'' to 2 4-pin mini XLR cables + professional travel case.

I bought these headphones 01.2020 new, for studio project that never launched. I used them only for test (1-2 hours).

I also ordered additional cables for them - Aurealis (Australia), pure copper Litz, cryogenic processing, 7N pure, caliber 24 AWG, 72 micro wires per signal line.

Connectors: Furutech 610 + Furutech 704. 6.3 mm single end. Cable length 3.5 meters. Great cable with retail is about 450 EUR.

I have the original invoice (non-EU).

RRP in Germany over 4000 EUR (including Aurealis cable).

Will be safely shipped by DHL to any EU country.

Trade offers on other top headphones are welcome. But only from reputable members.

As a private seller I exclude return and warranty from my side.

My 100% eBay reputation and from other hi-fi platforms will be provided on request.

Hi there,

Would you be able to describe how these compare with LCD2 or 4z?

Hello!

Thanks for your question.

I compared it with almost all current models of Audeze, except 4z, before buy.

MX4 In comparison with LCD 2 Classic - this is just a different league in details retrieval for sure. It sounds not that 'dark' and more emotional.

For my tastes MX4 took the best sides from LCD-X (neutrality and balance, that is a must for studio headphones) and from LCD-4 (new level of fine details).

Initially, I was thinking of buying an LCD-4, but after a long and detailed listening session I settled on the MX4.

Of course, all of the above is my personal experience and opinion.
