Won from a Japanese auction site a week ago. Now selling because I need to fund a new DAC.
2nd owner. No dents, scruffs. Minor tearing in the padding sleeves. 100% functional.
The 1st owner claimed to have used it for 6 months.
The sound is quite unique from the old/new audio-technica tuning. Very airy and detailed treble, but at the same time non-fatiguing. The sound is a little loose when comparing to my AKG K701. It does not grab your attention, but more like you are surrounded by the music itself. I consider this a plus since I can get lost in the music while working on other things. Contrary to popular believe, bass is quite present. It just doesn't extend much to the sub-bass, like most ATs. This is also a rare occasion where a headphone renders Classical and Pop equally well. Strings, piano, horns are very delicious to listen to.
No original box.
The headphones did not come with a 3.5->6.3mm screw-on adapter. So I bought audio-technica's AT501CS adapter. If you need it, that will be $10 extra.
