Thwy sound great if you like heavy bass music like me. I really like them since they are portable. One thing thought: this is my second pair. The first time the earcup stopped working but I think I had a defective pair. I'm still thinking about taking them back and look for something else.

Last one lasted 2 weeks but I really think it was a defective unit. The vocals are okay, but if you listen to something else than heavy bass music, they might not be the best choice. I highly recommend the ath m50x because of their more balanced sound, which is not the best sound signature for me. I will take mine back and get myself some xb90ex because im a bass head and I want more bass

@ theiemguy
Same thing happen to my pair. The right ear cup start to break down after almost a year. Luckily the warranty still covered it and I got a new pair without even having to send in the defective one which was convenient.

There are much better for $200. Sol Republic isn't much better than Beats. They aren't terrible, they're decent. But not for the price. For $200 the Beyer DT770 or the ATH-M50x for even less at $150 will blow them out of the water.

Yeah... I would probably avoid them. You can get a lot better.

Here are the review on Head-Fi. 3/5 Stars. Seems to be
Good bass
Recessed mids and highs
Better headphones for less. Much what you'd expect from designer headphones.
