Does anyone know of any hi-fi audio stores that are not chain based (i.e. GoodGuys/Circuit City etc...) that well let you listen to different headphones?

I have HD212's right now but I'm looking for something better.

Check your local Guitar Center, they will let you demo some of the cans, especially if you let them know that you'll be purchasing a set.

I'd assume Sam Ash would do the same, but the selection there are more limited vs. the GCs.

Shelly's Hi-Fi in Woodland hills, Coast Audio Supply in Hollywood would be good places to try.
