WOW, so bright! I'm glad I got these, I'm running them through a gauntlet of FLAC files now. I'm so in love with these things. Only thing I like about my HD650s over these so far is that my HD650's seem to have a bigger soundstage. I will give them some run in time and hope for nothing but improvements. Thanks Head-Fi, never would have found out about Grados without you haha.

I reccomend picking up a pair of flats from TTVJ. The RS-1 were originally designed with flats, and while they do stunningly with bowls the flat synergy shows through a lot. Plus after a week of using these my ears explode with pain whenever I try to go back to the bowls. Much more comfy.

Either way, fantastic pair of cans. I doubt you'll be dissapointed.

I will probably pick up a pair of flats and see how I like em, heard lots of good things. I pulled the pads off and crushed them in my hands over and over as to break them in a tad and it helped with the comfort. I think I will go order those from TTVJ now... Ive got the cans playing the 20min pink 2 min silence loop right now.

Dude, just listen to them. I loved them the instant I put them on and did all the "break in" with listening. So don't deprive yourself; do the break in on your head.

Oh I'm not depriving myself =P I listen to them when ever I'm home but when I'm sleeping or out, like I am now they are playing pink.
