Oh man

I grew up watching those movies...he was a real hero...a role model for me (I had no idea about DC comics etc. at that age). I had a superman costume and I still have all the movies...this is sad news...

I dont think anyone else can play that character like he did...I havent seen too many "other" movies with him but I think there are more than a handful...

Yeah...my plans of sleeping well just got blown sky high with this news

Oh man, that is terrible sad news : /

I don't care if people thought less of him because of what he was, and how he got crippled. The truth was he was a charismatic actor, he seemed to live an amazing life, and it was taken from him far too soon.

This just plain sucks. I can't believe that.

Mr Reeve was a charismatic actor even after his accident. Anyone catched the remake of "Rear Window"? But aside from his accomplishments as an actor and a director (he directed a movie coming out on cable TV soon), his courage inspired millions around the world.

RIP Mr Reeve....a true Superman

For me, this man, amongst others, and the Mexican Paralympics team, are heroes and examples of strrength. Not to be critical, but the death of Ken Caminiti, whom I hope rests in peace, makes me wonder if people is really choosing the rigth heroes. How many people would go for the sporstman and not the guy on the wheelchair?

Reeve was a true Superman, and an inspiration, as many others with dissabilities. Django Reinhard, Michael Berryman, and many others who have raised above their so called limitations to fully embrace life and be all that they can be, to the full potential.
