Hello dear people :)

I'm researching what amps/DACs I should get and I've noticed a part where some of the highest end of AMPs have a really ridiculous SNR, while the DACs only go up and up on the SNR.

I would like to know what goes? Take an example of ALO Studio Six claims these specs:

S/N Ratio:

78dB (unweighted) below full 2.83V RMS output into 8 Ohms

while something like Yulong DA8 claims upwards of 130 dB SNR,

How can I understand this?

Also while we're at it I would like to understand why headphones like orthodynamic like current (Wattage) and what it does to them while other headphones like HD800 need other (and I don't know what kind) of amplification?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks :)
