title says it all I don't want alternative just straight which option should I choose as I have no way of actually comparing myself by ear!? alot is said online about the dac capabilities of the sanskrit chip set but not so much about the ak4390ef capabilities inside the m6.

z review didn't say he could tell by ear the difference on his m6 review but I want other people's opinions too on the difference because the internet raves about the sanskrit and some of smsl standalone phone amps but its hard to find any other comparisons between the two. any help or opinions appreciated

went for something completely different in form factor but similar if not better specs.
the smsl idea (sabre 9018 and xmos usb dac/amp) managed to get last one from Amazon for a 60 quid steal.
I will write a review when received and listened to for a while.
