Is the M7 worth the extra $50??? It boasts ""Hi-Res"...but...I do love the knob aspect...but I'm really looking for the best combo amp/dac....depth, layers ...etc

Anyone???

I like the idea of Schiit products...but it costs $300 for the stack of Ubers...

Looking into those myself.
The M7 only puts out 30mW at 300Ohm. Thats quarter of what the M6 does. You gain DSD and the "ultra high-res" 24/768 resolutions.
Since i have HD600's and all of my music is 16/44.1, i feel the M7 would be a downgrade over the M6 for my usecase.

The Schiit stack sure is expensive. I too try to decide between M6 now or Magni now with crappy dac and modi later. Not decided yet... The Magni 2 has double the output of the M6 though... This is really hard -.-

I have the M560, and a Panasonic...from Japan...I will put the model number later...I definitely need more power than my computer can give, but I am looking for something that gives me the best listening experience w/o having to go all out on my eq.

Did you end up buying the M7? I'm looking at it myself and Might get one purely for testing purposes.
