If you havent seen it yet.
Run to the rentals, movies,DL it whatever.

If you like snatch or lock stock you will like this.
Gun fight at the end nearly matches the shoot-outs from "Heat" and
"44 Minutes"

I watched it a couple of weeks ago. I was not impressed with it at all. Characters were weak and story line predictable in most parts. Go see the Prestige, Blood Diamond or The Last King Of Scotland instead.

Curious tho, when Sharice is pwning the feds with the .50 cal monster.

after watching all those mythbuster eppisodes where they disproove the whole flying back whilst being shot by Guns bit.

every action has an equel and opposite re-action.

would they get thrown back that far? surely not?

If you got hit with the ArmaLite .50 cal BMG with armor piercing rounds at near point blank range, you would probably fall back a bit but not as exagerated as it's shown in the movies. There would also be very little left you if you where hit with several of those .50 cal rounds.

doesnt actually apply in this case because the bullets pass through the body and retain most of their original velocity. if they stopped or bounced off the body then you bet you'd go flying. You'd feel as much recoil being shot as the person holding the gun feels.

I liked it, but the movie fell apart in the last third.

as to being hit by the .50 cal um yes there was a video of U.S snipers hitting targets aka other snipers in aphganistan and those dudes flew all over the place. in one instance the poor person flew up 20-30 ft in the air. a good bit was just pieces...

a very, very nasty piece of weaponry.

the movie sucked.

I watched it a little while ago, I was not expecting anything like what it turned out to be! They totally bungled the script, and the fact that the man turned out to be that very same undercover agent had no meaning at all. I suppose it was all just an excuse for the all out bloodbath that took up most of the film.
