I try to use an Android Smartphone as a USB file transport for an external DAC/Amp. But every other day I loose the connection and the phone uses its own loudspeakers and does not output to the DAC/Amp. What goes wrong?
It is hard enough to convince my LG G5 to switch to "Audio Source" under developper options but even now that it shows the USB configuration as Audio Source it still does not work.
I tried three differrent USB-C to USB-A cables, did not help either.

Onkyo DAC-HA200. Connected with a USB cable USB-C male to USB-A (2.0) male. I tried the few presumably OTG adapters I have from USB-C male to USB-A female (3.0) with an added USB-A male male cable (2.0 and 3.0) and it did not work

Try UAPP or neutron

Of course I have tried UAPP an Neutron. I did not like their design. And if it does not work with the USB-DAC then they do not help either.
