Hi,

I was just over at HeadWize and found some pictures of a few pretty cool miniature headphone amps made by a guy called Sijosae.
(here's the link: http://headwize.com/ubb/showpage.php...=2542&fdays=20 )

I was wondering whether somebody had made any attempts to make a small STAX amp.

BTW, here's a funny link I discovered by accident when searching for the old godlike STAX poweramp SRM-T2. I stumbled onto a italian Hi-Fi store that had one for sale at €13,27 !!! However, after I ordered it, they discovered the error and corrected it. Damn, can you imagine getting a SRM-T2 for $16!!!

(Google still has the cached pages containing the price error)

My mistake, I thought you were commenting to the price error. And yes, that's a truly INSANE price.

how tiny??

Sijosae tiny, no way. The power supply alone is bigger than anything
he has done. If you have seen a srm-212 portable drive box, that is
fairly small. With a little work you could get it about 20% smaller than
that.
