Small crease in paper driver... problem?

i just noticed that in one of the paper midwoofers of one of my relatively new speakers, there's a small crease that follows the curve of the driver, about half way between the outside edge and the phase plug.

i haven't noticed any distortion, but could this be/become a potential problem? the speakers are still under warranty... should i try to get this fixed?

crease? don't think so, if it still sounds good it is ok. If it was teared or something you would get severe distortion!

Eventually, at higher listening levels it'll fail. Maybe the vendor will warranty it? Usually a sign of being overdriven.

HD650 driver also has creases! So, not necessarily so.

i've never driven the speakers hard, so unless it happened in testing by the manufacturer or importer, i don't think that would be it.

Well... If the crease was part of the design, wouldn't it also be present on the other speaker's woofer?
