Hi Head-Fiers,

About week ago I found here on forums great thread about parametric EQ and of course I gave it a try. Result was great for me, I could bring out more treble which I liked in most of music and overall both my headphones (HD650 and AKG701) sounded better to me.

But .... there is "little" problem, in some music there is "Slight Short Volume Decrease" (or maybe just bass, I am not sure) few times in song (maybe 5-10) and it's extremely annoying.

Already experienced something like this with CM Sirus 5.1 Headphones while using EQ.

Anybody else experienced this kind of problem ?

Any help would be great, thx in advance

Are you boosting above the 0 dBFS line? The result could be dynamic range compression by Windows whenever clipping would occur.

Last time I had it like this

So I guess answer is "yes" ?

Than solution would be lowering whole range under the 0 dB with highest frequency at 0 ?

Yeah, exactly. Electri-Q has a gain filter, use it.

Could you please navigate me a bit to "Gain Filter" ? Looks like I can't find it

Add a filter - right click - basic - gain only. Drag the entire EQ curve down.

ps : Love how this Electic-Q EQ lets me rise treble and I can hear cymbals clear, never heard it on any headphones till today.
