Sleeping IEM's

I've tried sleeping with headphones many times...But, honestly, just get a set of speakers. If your worried about roommate, maybe you can set them right next you on a bedside table or something? I find speakers much easier to sleep to.

I'd recommend getting one of those pillow speakers. It's certainly nothing Hi-Fi, but it's guaranteed to be safe doesn't block out noise the next morning, and isn't disruptive to others.

You should at least think about it

UM1s are the right choice, or spring for the double the price (and three or four times the sound) UM2s. I slept with my UM1s nightly until I left them on a plane. now I wear one KSC35, but I usually sleep to audiobooks

Yeah, the q-JAYS are an option too. However, if you wear the cable around the ears, you have to switch the buds from right to left so that they fit comfortably in your ears. Also, the tips don't go deep in to the ear canal unless you use smaller tips, which would help you reduce your chance of infections.

With q-JAYS you don't need to swap side
