I was just listening to my SR 80's, and after about 5 minutes they started to hurt my ears (as usual) So I took off my cans, and put on my synthetic skullcap, carefully rolled it up,so it would take the pressure of the headband and earpad's off my ears. I then put my SR 80's back on over the skullcap. A MAJOR improvement in comfort! I even noticed that they had a little more AIR !

youre supposed to bend the headband backwards a little to release some pressure just incase you didnt know. But it sounds like you found another way to do it.

Hey BoardC3 -> I tried that method, but it didn't work. I didn't want to bend the band too much, in fear of breaking it. (my head is pretty large). I know my method isn't very technical, but it works!

what kind of skullcap are you using? i got this thin black lycra hiphop style skullcap i wear under my motocross helmet... it s a nice feeling to wear it under the phones as well (with rolled-up edges to make the circumaural earpads have direct contact with the ear area)

A thick black nylon one I got at a thrift store for $1.
