Hillary and Norgay are always the center focus of everything related to Everest, but now they are both gone

I remember first reading about him in a kid's magazine when I was around six years old.

As long as Everest stands tall, his memories and exploits endure. RIP.

He led an interesting life and he got to see the top of Everest before all the tourists turned up and made a mess of the whole place. Poor old Everest, it looks more like a municipal dump than a majestic mountain these days.
