@fmzip, board level mods, will need techs familiar with SMD rework to do this one.
Part availability is becoming an issue due to the shortages in the industry.

@b0bb Can these mods me done without the supercap mod?

Thanks for posting all of this @b0bb. Great work!

Curious, what other gear is in your chain, preamp etc?
Gustard H20 and Schitt Mjolnir v1 headphone pre-amp combos, these drive about 15ft of balanced cables.
Schitt is stock, H20 is modified for high current, check out its thread for details.

I have the HD800, HD600, LCD3F, Stax SR009 and Koss ESP90

DAC is custom rebuild/reimplementation of LKS MH-DA004 capable of the 9038Pro's top sampling rate of 768kHz

Speakers are Martin Logan Summit Electrostatics driven by Aragon Palladium 1K monoblocks.
Amps are balanced, necessary to handle the current demand of the electrostats.

Nice!

So the LKS DAC is what is controlling the volume to the ML's?

Yes indeed, component lead-times are getting worse by the day. Haven't seen anything like this since the telecom boom back in the 1990's!

The only part that appears to be in stock is the IL711S. Newark has only a handful of the caps & a 69wk lead-time on the regulators. Do you think it's worthwhile to just install the IL711S for now or hold off til all the other parts become available? .

Grab the IL711S parts while you can.

TPS7A20 came to the market a few months ago, first real improvement over the ADP-151 regulator in 10 years.
Availability has always been spotty being a new product.

The 0805 47uF 10V Polymer Tantalums are jelly bean parts, I would not get hung up over the brand.
The only thing is to get caps from a known brand.

The caps around the 4 regulators can wait until you get the regulator itself everything else can be swapped out independently

Hi b0bb. The link for the IL 711S-1E is for an MSOP package. Looks like it's an SOIC on the board.

Could you please provide me the link to which one to use please as I don't see a direct cross to a 1000VRMS in an SOIC package? Should it be PN IL 711S-3E which they don't have any stock of?

That is correct, amended my post with the links for the SOIC version (711S-3E).

Digikey link is correct, they are out of stock.
Check with NVE

Hi everyone. A couple of questions for those who can help me out:

If toslink optical connection to DAC is required then Singxer F-1, Su-1 and Su-2 are automatically out, right?

Also, would anyone think that for audio reproduction at redbook level or perhaps a bit more (but not over 192), Su-6 is an overkill, and how does the latter compare to Gustard U18 and Matrix X-SPDIF 2?

Is there anyone who knows how to update a damaged firmware of SU?

I updated SU-2 firmware in hope that malfunctioning function of SU-2 by Singxer USB audio 5.0 would solve.
And ended up with there is no recognition of SU-2.

There is no English internet site that supports the update, AKA, which update matches which machine.
Singxer does not post proper documentation.

Hello

try the firmware from where Singxer Su 2 is based.
And try to transfer it, it might work.
However, I saw on the website that they no longer offer firmware.
There used to be from memory.
You will have to contact support if you need the file.
And ask for HELP on the occasion what you can do.

Usb Class 5.50 is the latest driver I have just seen.
It is often updated for the DDC and Dacs.

From this, I solved.
Thanks
