The setup is my permanent office setup. It even inspired me to move my office to one with a poolside view and has made me a born again head-fier. Pics with impressions to follow. I'm exhausted and need to go listen to the new Porcupine Tree album that arrived today.

I'm sorry, but you should be banned (and your SS1 sent to me). You don't take pics like this and post the thread without first having the review ready!

Oh my G*d.......

I saw this in the little room at the SJ Show and I tried to pick the lock. Not to steal, but just to listen for a little bit.

Nice job.

Cheers,

Oh, Sleestack, I missed where you said where you live and what times of day you are away from your audio setup. Would you mind telling me again? Thanks

Pretty much the ultimate in office setups ;p I don't think anyone could ask for more headphone wise. Truly a beautiful amp in performance and aesthetics. I really liked the LED/display color choices. The sound is simply out of this world

As a big fan of solid state I'll probably end up in this area at some point in my life. Thanks Sleestack for blazing the trail! Oh, and letting us listen to it fresh out of the box at the meet.

Very nice. Are both sides now operative?

No review necessary. All you had to do is be at the National and you would have been able to listen to it for yourself.

Assuming that you could get in, of course!

It sounds awfully good, and I'm not an SS person. SS can sound good but it tends to be much more expensive that good sounding tube amps (IMO of course). This one is more than expensive enough!

Yes, Sleestack showed the utmost amount of hospitality. He both opened his hotel and his personal equipment to HeadFi members. Now when are you driving your car through SB?

The National was fantasic. My advice is not to miss the next one. I know that I won't. And who knows what you'll be able to listen to.

Easy for you to say, to a 16 year old high school student in Illinois

OK, but don't you think you can make it to Chicago in '08? I don't think Richard will be bringing his office rig, but there will be plenty of delights on offer.

cool... we should have the next meet at your place of work. (again) (it's only one bart ride, one AC180, and two VTA stops away)

What, can't you wait a year or are you really thinking about buying a $15k rig before then?

In that case I find it somewhat confusing that you could think about spending that much on a rig but could not make the national meet.

[EDIT]And more on topic, congrats on the amazing rig Richard. I imagine it was quite the journey getting to this point and from where I sit the end of the road looks like a mighty fine place to be living.
