The Sennheiser IE800/800s is a very good single DD IEM. I have liked the sound signature, just not the fit, which for me is fussy.

The Dunu Luna is a single DD driver TOTL IEM that has been well received (I have not heard it myself).

I remain curious about the brand-new Shozy Black Hole single DD IEM, just out, no reviews yet. It seems "unique," and at $799 (same price pretty much as the Senn IE800s), let's hope in a good way.

Hmmm, I just noticed this. Interesting.....

The NM2+ is definitely more detailed, with a much larger soundstage, far superior imaging and instrument placement, and better micro and macrodynamics. Timbral accuracy sounds more natural as well. More organic sounding.

The YBF has a LOT more sub bass, much more than even the graph suggests. It is also a bit better than the NM2+ when passages become extremely complicated. It doesn’t sound as compressed.

I dunno which version (beryllium driver or noble metal driver) is in this graph though, heard from Slater the noble metal one is less V shaped and the subbass isn't as visceral.

True. I have no idea, and perhaps it is the noble metal version, because the bass definitely sounds more prominent than this graph suggests. Overall though, I think the sound signature of my set matches that graph, other than the sub bass quantity.

There really is something remarkable about the beryllium/coated drivers regarding their speed and handling of transients. I really can‘t wait to listen to the Believe.

Yeah agreed on the beryllium transients and bass texturing. Plus of the beryllium sets I've tried, they take to EQ very well too.

Thanks! That certainly looks like what I’m hearing on my set.

yup and here is the comparison with the FH3

I hear the bass as the same but I guess its because with the added treble quantity on the urbanfun, I have to lower the volume a bit to match them better IRL.

Anybody heard or owned IEMs from Acoustune?

Is it as good as people told? I'm thinking about to buy the HS1697Ti,
and get it shipped from Japan. Heard it is good for the price to performance ratio.

To my ears, the Urbanfun has a kind of metallic quality to its timbre, one that works ok for say, electronic music but not for much else. Maybe I got one without the proper "beryllium-coated" driver. QC problems.
