Does anybody have a pair of recabled D5000?
I am looking for information on who perfromed the job, what kind of materials (OFC or silver) and changes in sound experienced.

You can do it yourself. It is very easy. Try both OFC and silver and see which is best to your ears. I think the stock cable sounds pretty good. It just is a pain to deal with and is why I replaced the one on my D2000. Good luck and enjoy the music!
