Hi there

I am looking for headphones which are kind of similar to AKG K1000 or Mysphere or Float QA, i.e. where the headphone does not touch the ear at all.
Are there any other manufacturers doing such headphones?

Also of interest to me are in-ear headphones which are open, like the Sony STH40. Are there any similar ones?

Best Regards,
Daniel

I think you already mentioned the more popular ones. The only other ones that come to my mind would be the Ergo Series from Precide. Seems like the guy who makes them (Martin Dürrenmatt from Precide) also produced the Jecklin Float.

For open in ears Audeze has the iSine and LCDi lines.

Since you mentioned the K1000, it seems you care about historical headphones too.

- Sony VIP-1000 (I own it) (DSP stereo-field system with electronic gimble head-tracking - world first headphone (and one of the few) to properly emulate stereo speakers)
- Sony MDR-F1 (very open-back dynamic headphone)
- Sony PFR-V1 (stereo-field ear-speakers)

- Peerless PMB-100 (open back vintage planar)

- Precede Ergo (various models)

- KuraDA KD-P1 ( https://www.kurada.co.jp/kd-p1 ) (very open-back dynamic headphone)
