so if you had a choice of either a black or silver andonized case for an amplifier... which would you prefer?

also, if it were available in only once color, but you preferred the other color, would that make it less likely for you to purchase the amplifier?

just curious... I liked the silver SR-71 and I cannot get it.

vote once for either of the first two choices.
and vote again between the last two choices.

btw, this applies to any amplifier, portable or not. I got sidetracked with the SR-71... hehe. sorry about that.

1. I prefer nearly any amp in black.
2. If it were not available in black, I would probably still get it, after all thats why I'm considering that amp in the first place. For the sound, not necessarily for the look.

I would prefer silver (as stated above), but it is the sound quality that counts so I wouldn't mind the color... unless it was pink or something like that.

I like black and I might or might not buy if it were only available in black. Depends on how it looks, I think with the SR-71 I would buy it.

It would depend on what other logos are on the case of the amp and what the amp looks like. In the case of the SR-71 I think black looks good on it. If an amp was available in only one color but I preferred it to be in another color I'd still buy it as long as it sounds great.

silver.

black just has too many problems with fingerprints and scratches showing too easily.

I've defeated the need to pick a color thanks to Norm. I just ordered a Headsave Classic and its Black and Silver.

I don't realy have a color preference either way. I think the best looking color, to me, depends on the model.

Some look better in black....Some look better in silver. But my favorite ones come in candy apple green.

Well you know what they say...once you go black, you never go back.

I myself have a beautiful black maxed out Cmoy (dual-output buffers) in a hammond case coming in tomorrow

I chose silver simply because my cdp is silver. If my cdp was black, then I would have chosen black. Unfortunately, the Stealth only comes in black. Fortunately, I chose good sound over color coordination.
