I'm looking for something for roughly under $500 for a 5-6 foot pair to be used with Vandersteen 1C speakers. I need it terminated in banana plugs on one end and spades or bare wire on the other. Any recommendations? Thanks.

You might try contacting the guy at Wyvern Audio: www.wyvernaudio.com

He's a headfi member but I don't know his handle.

He makes great silver custom cables, and is a very nice guy. I bought a silver mini to mini and he also gave me a great deal on a prototype 1/4 to 1/8 headphone jack adapter (flat copper). I couldn't be happier with these cables.

I plan to do a full review with pics whenever I remember to grab my camera. His stuff comes packaged like fine jewelry. It's not inexpensive, but it's truly great custom work.

I'd highly recommend contacting Grover Huffman. I have had the good fortune to hear his all silver cable which is what he makes his speaker cables out of as well. Highly recommended.

Me too! Unfortunately I will have no other silver speaker cables to compare it too, but I believe it will be an improvement over copper in my system so I expect I'll be happy.
