I came across the Silver Dragon IEM cables made for JH/UE and IE8. I am wondering if there will be a version for Westone IEMs, particularly the UM2/UM3X with recessed slots. Are there any choices of terminate (oyaide, ViaBlue etc) other than the Neutrik and Pailics?

We will have cables for the Westone Elite Series ES1, ES2, ES3x, ES5, UM2, UM3X. But only the UM2/UM3X that have the replaceable cable system. Our cables will work on all of the UE custom in ears as well as the JH Audio. We will also do Live Wires Customs and are working on a mold for the new Shure line up. But production is not ready yet. We are almost there. Molding companies are not the fastest characters to work with.

It is a balanced cable so we can fit it with a whole host of connectors. We will start using the Oyaide mini plugs once production is in full gear. As well as Protector connection, Tucan connector, Neutrik and Furutech XLRs, Furutech and Cardas 1/4" and what ever else I can dig up.

Here are a couple of pics of Prorotypes. Have to take a picture of the one for the Custom In Ears.

They are looking great but I do not have the luxury of testing them out at RMAf CanJam as I live in Singapore

Mind if I ask if they are using v2 cables as in the headphone cables or v3 like those in the LODs?

there's no memory wire for custom iem cables?

At this point no. It naturally wraps around the back of the ear. And with the slider on the Y Split it stays in place. The slider is not pictured above.

Hey Randius...where did you see those cables made for the IE8?  I didn't come across them and didn't see them under the description of the pics on the site.  Could you link me the page of the IE8 cables?

We have a limited batch of 48" cables available with Right angle premolded mini. Still waiting on prices back from molders so we can establish final pricing. We may have IE8 down the road. But not at this time. Depends on how much demand there is for it.

Awe.. I hope it is soon.  I do enjoy my bluedragon lod and wouldn't mind a cable for the IE8.  Thanks for the heads up.  If it goes down please PM me about it, I'd be really interested =)
