Silicon Valley Mini-Meet, July 14

It's time to get another meet going in this area after the chaos of HeadFest 2007, so I thought I would take things into my own hands to get one started! The date is set, and the location tentative (ignore the poll, see below for updated location).

Drinks and lunch will be provided. Reply with what kind of food you want, the majority will rule the decision of cuisine.

Hmm, delivering the Aqvox DAC would be a good excuse for me to come to this meet, eh Steve?

I don't much care about the location, whichever will provide a better atmosphere for the meet, I suppose.

Ok I didn't exactly have my thinking cap on when I originally posted this. Forget the poll, I didn't realize how useless that was considering how close they are.

If a moderator has the option to remove the poll, I'd appreciate it, thanks.

Location and date are now set, unless there's enough opposition to the date.

Let's run this as a smaller meet, I'll set up a larger one with better venue for August!

Just saw your post Iron_Dreamer, if you could do an August meet instead, the Aqvox would work out better for me then.

Hrmmm, shall I move the date backward to better contrast with an August meet? I didn't think there would be comments about this being too far in the future!

It's not that far in the future, but distant enough to allow people to plan. Unfortunately my summer schedule is very unpredictable.

Wow, this will be just about in my own backyard... I'll definitely plan to attend.
I'll bring the following gear:

AMB β22 amp with σ22 power supply
Cavalli-Kan Kumisa III amp
Senn HD600 headphones
Benchmark DAC1
M-Audio Firewire Audiophile
laptop computer with external USB disk full of music

If luck is with me, I may have a new prototype of the Mini³ v2 portable amp ready too.

Also, depending on whether they're too much to lug, I might bring my AMB θ19 speakers (with Dynaudio Esotec drivers) to demo the β22 amp's ability to drive speakers.

I will bring an EHHA Amp prototype. My B22 assuming it is finnished, and possibly a CK-K3.

I'll bring HD600 phones and I can bring some kits if people let me know ahead of the meet.
