Sick

That is sick, business or otherwise. No one should have that much control over someone elses computer, period. Whether it is used or not, something like that can easily be exploited. Let's say you find that server in Pheonix that the computers report to. Well, if you use a mail blast (thousands of emails all at once will cause it to freeze and really give them hell till they can clear the messages) to take down the server, put up something in the same IP address or use some method where it reroutes the pings from the original IP address to a new address, someone who is not part of that company and therefore not "authorized" to do anything can **** a whole company or all computers that use the technology. Nothing is safe to computer hackers, they should know that before they make **** like that.

That's so cool. I want to work at Phoenix Technologies just so I can totally screw people over!

I can see how it could be exploited and be a bad idea I just don't see "sick" as the right word to describe it. The mother putting her toddler in the washer, thats "sick". If exploited, (likely) this fits the "stupid" quite nicely.

Most of the major bios makers are owned by the same company. Seriously, this is one of the worst things i have ever heard. Hopefully no CTO in his right mind would buy into this.
