Thanks guys!

Ask and you shall receive. I may have tracked down an LCD2 on loan. I'll post my review first and post my impressions with the LCD2 and the two amps as a follow up.

Great write up (as usual) Ross! Well thought out and described. While I've never heard the WA6SE (I have heard the WA6), I think I know what to expect just based on your contrast to the WA2.

A great contribution to our community.

Now, were would you place your B22 in this fray?

Nice review.
I had been waiting for a head to head of these two amps for sometime.
I asked Jack for a brief comparison before I bought my Woo6se and your review matched a lot of what he told me.
The W6se sounds very good with the LCD-2's as well so looking forward to your opinions if you get your loaner.

I find your comparisons with SS amps also interesting. I noticed that my W6se did everything better than my Solo SRG including the SS strengths of speed, detail and clarity. The Solo was like a little tin can in comparison!
Its a much closer call compared to my Roc. I haven't directly compared them but feel that the Roc has very slightly better detail and speed and very good realistic tone and the Woo has possibly a slightly more exciting sound with a feeling of greater energy.

Anyway thanks for the time taken and I look forward to any future updates.

Excellent review. Thankyou. I know what the WA2 sounds like with the Beyer T1 but can anyone share thoughts on the WA6SE and T1 pairing?

I love my T1/Woo6se combination, sounds excellent to me.
As you already have the W2 I would say the 6se would give you a faster more detailed and precise sound, possibly not as smooth or full bodied and the W2 would be more laid back.

Which you prefer would probably be dictated as to what you listen to.
