Shure's new black foamies

Yay! Shure is finally selling the black foamies and I definitely want them. They are sold in small, medium, and large. That's my Dilemma.

Does anyone know what size the black foamies are that came with the purchase of a new e500PTH? I assume medium, but I don't want to buy them without making sure.

I appreciate the response. Your comparison unfortunately doesn't cover the new black foam sleeves Shure recently just started selling and the pair someone might have been lucky enough (myself included) to have as the default pair of sleeves installed when buying a new e500PTH late last year.

The 'olives' mentioned in scompton's review are the black Shure foamies.

There's also a big thread about them right here. Most folks (including myself) have purchased them from earphonesolutions. I've got mediums on my JVC Marshmallows and love them.

what can i say, they are really comfy and isolate extremely well, but sometimes i think i prefer the yellow ones.

I called them the black olives, since that's what I was seeing them called before they were on sale anywhere. So the post does include the medium and large. I didn't order small because I knew they wouldn't fit me.

I found the medium ones to be too big. They fit, but the pain ... I used the medium flex sleeves and the yellow foamies before I got the small black foam sleeves, which are just perfect. Can be hard to get a full seal at once, but as they get warmed up they seal perfectly.
