No problem,was not suggesting to sell Qp1r which is obviously an awesome dap in SQ,just to try for different flavor.I doubt it sounds as fun as ZX2 though

I did try the ZX2, and I like the QP1R's more clear, coherent and resolving sounding signature compared to the ZX2 - and yes, the QP1R sounds more "fun" than the ZX2.

The ZX2 sounds like a $500 dap without the TRRS.I prefer my Cayin N6 to it which is a step down from your QP1R and is roughly competing with Fiio X7.There is a reason why we see so many discrepancies and opinions on the web in regards to ZX2.A couple say it is better than  ak120ii and Ak240 and many say it doesn't sound much better than a10 and you need to struggle to hear the difference like cnet.Same with amazon.
 
Nevertheless,I have to say you are an addition to Head-fi and enjoy reading your wonderfully detailed reviews,since we started somewhat on the wrong foot when i joined the se846 thread.Cheers

I think the blue color in person is pretty snazzy for a universal design, and the gold/bronze color reminds me of my gold/bronze SE530.

The blue reminds me of the NuForce Primo 8! Hope the colour stays longer on the Shures' than that on the NuForces'.

Se846 thread has been very slow, is our beloved IEM getting dumped off?

How long until shure improves a new model?

I've tried various iems and headphones and it's making me really appreciate se846, it's crazy but after a lot of testing.. I keep smiling with this on.

Even tho, initially it did not impress...i guess I was looking for *wow* sound... Well... Still haven't received it... But this is good. For a while

I'm back to the white filter again. It seems to work very well with the Mojo. I'm keeping the Hugo at home for my full sized headphones.
