Amazon has some 3rd seller that is selling shure se530 for only 316 dollars.

Is this reliable seller? and also what do you think of the price? bargain?

I currently have shure e4c and it's dying... I want something in similar quality or better. I was thinking of UM2 or Shure se530. Which one would you recommend? Any thoughts?

I would say that's quite a good deal.

SE530 over the UM2 any day. The Shure is much more refined and doesn't have the flabby bass of the UM2. The SE530 will be an improvement upon the E4c in most ways apart from the fact that the highs will seem more recessed relative to the rest of the spectrum.

I can't find it anywhere but that's a good price. It jumps down to around there sometimes... Also the UM2 isn't as refined as the price implies nor the um1. If you don't give us a link or name we can't tell if its a reliable seller.

oh jeez yeah I forgot the link

Amazon.com: Used and New: Shure SE530 Sound Isolating Earphones

If you scroll down a bit, you will see 2 sellers are selling at $316 + shipping + no tax(?)

I'm just worried about getting fake shure like people were saying about getting fake cx300 from ebay.

Damn I wish my e4c still had warranty... forking up several hundred dollars for earphone seems really ridicoulous, but then I'm spoiled by high end ones... can't go back down from here...

Seems legit, I got my E500s a year ago for $315 on eBay.

Those aren't featured merchants, so for all I know it could be anyone selling it.
250-300$ is about where I would price these. I wasn't terribly happy with them for 450$us.

Also note that unless they are authorized dealers (Amazon is an authorized dealer but the 3rd parties are most likely not) Shure will not warranty them if you have a problem. Shure altered their policy last year to include only authorized dealers. Given their cabling issue, I would want that warranty but it does mean paying $450.

Cyberworld is the same as Trust Electronics 2 on eBay and I originally ordered the SE420s from him. Fast shipping and he can be trusted.

I ended up getting my SE530s for $289 + $14.99 shipping from clfcsw1 on eBay. He usually has the SE530s on there every couple of weeks for that price so keep on the lookout.
