Hey guys, Im thinking of upgrading my portable audio equipment and have some catching up to do. Reguarding my headphones I was wondering if there is a major difference in sound between the Shure E5c's and the Shure e500's. I have the Shure E5c's now and they sound great but would not mind selling and upgrading if there is something better out there. Thanks for your help.

It depends on how much you can resell your E5's for. Even though the E5 has a superior cable, the 500 sounds more refined and bassy than the E5. Cant really say much more, havent listened to the E5 enough, I've only done a little A and B comparison. I prefer the E500 though.

Well...I figure I can at least get a couple hundred for them. I have the box and paperwork and all the other ear attachments that I haven't used yet. Plus I never really cared for the look of the E5c's that much. Anyone else compared these two models?
