Hi, I'm interested in trying a pair of IEM's. And after many reviews, I've settled on these two. A future upgrade, maybe a UE 5 or 10 series. But right now, these 2 can do the job. I'm using the IEM's as general entertainment through my pda Zodiac (mp3's), gaming, on my laptop as well: music/movies.

From what I've read, the Super.Fi seems to be a more "fun" IEM? What exactly does that mean? A more livelier sound? Better soundstage? (this means better surround sound?)

From a design perspective, the Shure seems better aesthetically. Built more rugged, to use outdoors. And I intend with it, lots of traveling, walking, biking, etc. (with caution of course) They also don't stick out yours ears as much. That's why I'm eyeing more the UE 5/10 series.

I also noticed the design of the EB is different from the Pro's. A more squat design. Stick out of the ears less? Basically, you get more bass, at the expense of clearness on high, mids, and lows, as I've read.

In terms of music, balance and bass are important. Highs, adequate bass. As my music ranges pretty much from every genre. Which I think the E4 can handle pretty well. So right now, I'm leaning towards the Shure. Unless there are good reasons someone can think of other than these. I think lowest price on the 5 Pro's is at $190 on Gateway, though that's gone at the mo. Don't even know if they ship to Canada. (and I've heard you should just save on the UE 5/10 series anyway, man, are those dope)

Thanks!
