I have recently decided I would like to buy some high quality IEM's. I have found all these earphones for more or less the same price on ebay (less than 180). My old earphones were cheap Panasonic rp-hje50 so I am expecting a big increase in quality. Of these three, which ones do you think are the best value?

I am planning on buying from this ebay store,

http://stores.ebay.com/wind130

Has anyone here done business with this dealer before? Do the earphones for sale look genuine?

Thanks

They're all pretty highly regarded as good headphones. They all have their strengths and weaknesses so it might prove to be a good idea to post your music tastes and then others can help narrow a pair down for you, best suited to your preferences. I believe the se310's are a revamped version of the e4's, so if they're not that much more than the e4's, you could narrow your search between the se310's and the super.fi 5 pro's.

I own the Shure e4c's by the way, and find them to be fantastic. I find they excel with rock and jazz. They have almost no microphonics and are very comfortable to wear. The super.fi 5 pro's are known to have more bass so they are more suitable for rap/hip hop and elcectronica.

On the other hand, he may get a good deal on the e4s. Having owned both the e4s and the sfp5, the e4 is the one that I still use, and love it to pieces FWIW.

I own the e4c, they sound great. It works great for long flights because of the rolled off highs. You can listen for hours without fatigue. I've read reviews saying shure went a new direction in their lines of iem, some even saying they sound veiled.

You might want to audition all three before buying.

Thanks for the advice.

My taste in music is almost completely limited to rock and alternative rock. No rap or anything like that.

Also, how do the e4 and super.fi pro's compare in comfort, how long can they be kept in the ears before discomfort.

Thanks Again
