try getting one of the earwax removal kits, which should extend the longevity of the foamies. you can also try washing the foams using warm water and a mild detergent.

Exactly. Wash them with warm water and F.i. mild washing up stuff shortly, let them dry and they are as new.
Good thing too, for after extensive comparisonss I definately prefer the beter isolation and SQ of the fomies above that of the softtips, while comfort is on par, once you get used to them.
Okay, let me ask a rookie question. Is there anything about these foamies that make them more sonically conductive (yeah, I made that up, but you know what I mean
) than regular yellow foam earplugs? I'm assuming I'd have to puch a hole in the standard yellow foamies, but that wouldn't be too hard. Aren't the foamies from Shure about a buck a piece? And the inconvenience of having to order them all the time would get old.
