How does the shure e2c's bass quality and amount of bass compare to the px-100s?

Is it similar, or is it very different? I know it can't be to similar because they are canal phones, but how do they compare?

I've only listened to the px100's before a good burn-in (my gf's), but I think there is more bass (with a good seal) from the e2c. If you take a look at the frequency chart over at headphone.com for the two phones, you'll see why :P

the e2 seems to vary quite a bit depending on the source and amplification. like it sounds pretty polite on my ipod but on my echo indigo it is has more detailed highs and much better bass extension and bass presence. i like it so much that it roughly shares equal listening time with my ER4S. I've never heard the px100s so i can't really compare but i think the e2's bass out of a relatively strong source is pretty good for its price. it may not be accurate or tight, but it is pretty fun to listen to.

its there but not great.

decent impact, not so decent extension, but over all its ok, and it improves from brand new to burn in.

over all on the ol'1-10 id give it a 6, its alot better then buds, but remember the e2cs are towards the botton end of the canalphone range.
