Hello,
I have recently bought a pair of Shure E2C's. As an upgrade from my Sony MDR-EX71's...the difference in sound is pretty big to me.
However, i've tried the clear PVC & black soft flex sleeves...they give me a good seal, but hurt after a while - It could just be that they're new, and i'll get used to them but i'm not so sure... I've tried what i've read so far: pulling your ear up & out..moistening the tips..opening my jaw (lol..looks dumb, but worth a try). I can get a good pain free seal with the small foamies however I seem to be blessed with ears that build up alot of wax
, so I don't wanna keep having to replace them.
I know the Black Foamies shown here: http://www.shure.com/PersonalAudio/P...910_black_foam aren't compatible with the Shure E2C's...but has anyone actually tried to fit them before? Or Modify them in some way?
Thanks in advance,
Amar
P.S: If anyone has anymore ideas on how to insert them so they don't hurt after a while, let me know
