Nice setup man! The Sonnet DAC's definitely benefit from upgraded footers. I put some under my Morpheus and was pleasantly surprised at the results.

I am right there with you on the GAS. I have owned and sold way too many guitars and amps through the years.
I learned about GAS from starting to learn how to play guitar, except in that hobby, GAS is Guitar Acquiring Syndrome but it covers anything guitar.

The one thing that helps keep GAS in check for me is I live in an apartment that is the size of a shoe box. I also don't make a lot of money, so I use Amazon credit to feed my guitar hobby, which I build up through stupid apps. I also save those reward cards from credit cards. I waited about two years to get something really good. Since I have no room and probably will move too much, it does limit the guitar and headphone GASing. Although, I really like get the Neural DSP Quad Qortex. Lately, I'm thinking maybe getting just the PC simulator.

Since no one I know in real life is quite an audiophile, there no checking out others' stuff to drive GAS. I'm very happy with the FiiO K9 Pro ESS, FiiO BTR5, Focal Stellia, and Meze, GUCraftsman, and NewFantasia headphone cables. I did get the Focal Bathys for around the house such as when cleaning when there may be an issue of the cable catching on something. Although I do have slight GAS for the BT57, I don't use the BTR5 much.

I do have quite a few cheap SoundPeats Bluetooth TWS IEM/Hs. This is because I prefer to go outside with inexpensive BT headphones that I'm not overly concerned if they get damaged or stolen such as at the gym. They only need to sound pretty good.

ya, anything with transformer and clock are benefitted with some anti vibration feet.

Yes, there are two Liquid Platinum h/p/a. One will use only 6922 / 7308 / E88CC tubes; the other will use only 12AU7 / ECC82 tubes. That way, adapter removal is not an issue. [LP has been available at a surprisingly low sale price 🙂.] Tubes in use are Lansdale ‘long plate’ 12AU7.

Looking at the LP with the adapters, it almost seems like they were meant to be there - if you could get adapters in silver that matched the faceplate, that'd look awesome
IIRC, Cavalli strongly advised not to use anything other than 6922 & equivalents. I'm guessing nobody has fried their amp using 12AU7s yet?

• I have a pair of the Pulse Tube Store 12A## -> ECC88 adapters that I painted silver with Testor’s model paint. They are backup for Woo WA3 …
• With the PTS adapters just mentioned, 12AU7 is ‘rewired in parallel’ such that the presented voltage is 6.3, not 12.6 - same as 6922. Also, the heater (filament) current becomes 300 mA, the same as that of 6922. Lastly, 12AU7 gain factor is 20x versus 32x for 6922: less / no chance of circuit overload (?). All told: no 🤬, all 😌.

Pretty rare to see a 12A*7 actually being run at 12v these days. Tried 5670? IIRC the heater current is just a wee bit higher than 6dj8/12au7. I gotta guess that the current demand of a 6cg7 is waaay out of the question though

Not (yet?) in LP. I really like the Western Electric 2C51 / 396A, with adapters, in Woo WA3 ….

EDIT: The Linear Tube Audio MZ3 uses 12AT7 pair at 12v. Teamed with 12SN7 pair makes for great listening. ☑️
