I often wonder whether Genelec 2-ways are good for music appreciation. I went through a long & rather disappointing search for powered studio monitors that actually sound good; never managed to hear Genelecs, but often wondered.

Love my Genelecs. I put a tube phono stage and a tube pre-amp in front of them to give them a more Hi-Fi sound vs a studio sound. But tons of useful features including room correction and time of flight correction to handle drapes and couches and all the surfaces one has in a living room. Which is where my pair live.
