Thanks Bob..his name is Miles, 7 month old Rottweiler-Cane Corso-Bordeaux Dog-Bull Mastiff-Shephard-Ridgeback mix :)
Interesting bandogge mix. Im assuming the mix was intentionally done over the years? Where did you find him?
Ive been looking for a good protective breed the past year. Ive looked at Corsos as I had one back in '97 and he was a fantastic dog, but a genetic nightmare, as my vet described him.
Modern Corsos apparently have Boxer blood mixed in, so now Corsos have an epilepsy issue that they never had before, so ive been looking at various bandogge breeders as an alternative.

I came across a newish breed called the Ambullneo Mastiff that was created by a dude in Riverside, Ca. 25-30 years ago. Ive spoken to the creator of the breed several times on the phone and I think he will be the next dog we get. Waiting for pups to be born.

Photo is an Ambullneo mastiff bred by Mark Reasinger, the creator of the breed. Theyre described as fearless protectors and 160lb lapdogs.

Cool, looks like a Mastino Napolitano with tighter skin..I used to have a Cane Corso, Orfeo, great dog..fearless indeed and..I think the word is stoic
Miles is not breeded with a specific plan or even thought..I bought him from farmers who have all kind of dogs walkin around, I liked his mum so..

I have owned three French Mastiffs (Bordeaux Dogs) back in the day..liked those very much but they became popular (the movie Turner & Hooch didn't help) so this ruined the breed
My last one, Beau, had all kind of issues, especially his heart..

This what was used back in the day. Theyre now multi generations stable, so when you breed two Ambullneos together they produce 100% type that the parents are.

"The Ambullneo Mastiff is a highly intelligent, unstoppable guardian. This 90’s version of the Bullmastiff comes from a breeding program started in the early 80’s comprised of breeding an English Mastiff male to a Neapolitan female where two pups from this litter were then bred to a Game Bred Pitbull. These 50/50 crosses were bred to a Bullmastiff. The result was a 45% Bulldog, 55% Mastiff cross. An American Bulldog/Pitbull was bred to a Bullmastiff producing a 70% Bulldog, 30% Mastiff cross. This was bred to the 45% Bulldog, 55% Mastiff cross to produce a 57.5% Bulldog, 42.5% Mastiff."
