Give it up already, guys! They are, in all probability, a pair of Sennheiser MX300s that come with any iRiver portable. You can buy a pair of MX500s for ~$15...

I don't really care, if i get them they will be loaner ones anyways. I already got some mx400's. I'm with andrzej I had forgotten about them until this thread popped up. ah well.

I'm guessing that Sennheiser was betting on the fact that Head-fiers will forget about these buds since they're of such low quality compared to what we actually use anyway.

b&h is selling mx300 for $7 + $5 shipping, i think that is teh cheapest that it get

You can try newegg.com for the mx500's which I think are slightly better then the 300's and cost 16.00 + free shipping! Although i still HIGHLY prefer the sound of my grado's to the MX500, 16.00 is a bargain. By the way the package came really fast (3 day deliver all together)
