My AD700s just started to partially drop the signal to the left ear (there is still sound, but it's quieter). When I tilt my head to the left they work fine, so would I be right in assuming this is probably a dodgy connection where the wires are soldered to the back of the driver? I am a complete novice when it comes to repairing electronics so any suggestions would be helpful.
I unscrewed the cup and had a peek inside. At first glance I don't see any loose connection. One of the wires seems to be crossing over another one, would that be a problem? Could the connection where it's soldered simply be old/decayed without visibly being broken?
