I heard that the limited edition model of the at m50s looks and sounds better (i can confirm the looks) but I was wondering if it was worth the extra money.

Heya,

Not worth the money, at all.

Either model.

I would suggest a completely different headphone honestly. What are you looking for? What's your budget?

Very best,

I am looking for headphones that are good without an amp, just drive by an iphone.
I mainly listen to top 50 pop and rap, so i want good bass.
My budget is $100-$200. Thanks for any help!

Look into:

AudioTechnica A900X
Ultrasone PRO 750
Ultrasone HFI 580
AKG K167
Sony XB700
M-Audio Q40

Very best,

I was wondering: are those headphones you mentioned noise isolating and over ear with little leakage?  I know I didn't mention that I wanted those features earlier, I was in a rush.  Anyways, thanks for the help!

The only difference between the M50S and the M50 is the more expensive one has a coiled cable.
Amazon had the M50S for $110 just last week. Not quite worth the $160 as there are alternatives. But for $110 its pretty good

Bump? I also set on the m50s at the moment, but answers in this thread have slightly changed my choice. What is a good alternative between 100-200 with decent bass but also good mids and highs like the OP asked?
