Plextor 8x20 SCSI
Plextor 32X SCSI
Plextor 12x10x32 SCSI

I'm thinking of getting rid of them. Are they better than average in a computer for making CDs or reading?

I barely use my UltraPlex 40x anymore and ditched my scsi burner for a $40 40x burner and haven't looked back. I say get rid of them, newer cheaper IDE models will do the job, some even better. The cdfreaks forum is a good place to go to find information about computer optical drives.

Yeah I have quite a bit of SCSI stuff. 5 of my computers have it

But I figured the Plextors rip well so I may keep the 32X for that. The 12x10x32 still goes for a price on ebay
