long time lurker who finally decided to create an account.
I own the Sony NW-A35 DAP (as well as an iPhone 7) and soon my Sony XBA-N3AP iem's should arrive.
While browsing on head-fi I read a bit about the power output of the A35 and I was wondering if I should invest in an AMP/DAC?
I few month back I was checking out some full size headphones (but decided to stick with iem's). I ordered a Sennheiser HD 650 which came bundled with an Apogee Groove DAC. I was impressed by the difference this little DAC made when I conencted it to my macbook (it can't be directly conencted to the A35).
So now I was thinking about the FiiO A5 since it is affordable and seems compatible with the A35, out of the box. Will it make a noticable differnece or is the A35 powerfull enough to drive the N3 in almost the same way the FiiO would?

Other recommondedations besides the FiiO A5, around 150USD and of portable size, are also appreciated.
