I recently got a pair of Denon AH-551K and love 'em -- however, the stock cord is just .5m and the extension is way too long to shove all into my pocket. I got the radio shack extension (with the volume control) and the mini jack is just way too large/heavy -- it pulls down on my headphones when I walk, pulling the buds out of my ear. I've seen the Shure 9" extension on their website as well, but it looks like the jack is large and could be heavy as well. Does anyone have any experience with the Shure extension, this one (Amazon.com: Impact Acoustics Velocity - Audio extender - 27 AWG - mini-phone stereo 3.5 mm (M) - mini-phone stereo 3.5 mm (F) - 1.5 ft - shielded - blue: Electronics) or have any other suggestions for a fairly thin/light extension cable for a commuter? Thanks!
