I just got the A100Ti from Hirsh, and I must admit that this thing sounds great. It is easily power and sounds stunning out of my Sony D-E905, let alone the Meta42 with AD-845 + Sony D-515. I really like this headphone and found the built quality to be very impressive. By the way, this thing has a Total package...sound, comfort, and looks. I really like it.

I think we were discussing looks off and on the head recently. I got the A9X, and I have a headphone doppelganger (long story) who I saw with an ATH-A100Ti.

I found the A9X a tad cumbersome to carry around with me - I still found myself making the sound sacrifice for the folding capability, and even then a lot of the stuff I listen to actually suited the V700 and similar phones better than the A9X, especially without an amp. So out went the A9X.

Going back to the looks thing, I think they're great off the head, but not so hot on the head
