I have a pair Shure E3's that I wear when I work out. Does anyone know where to get a wire clip that fits ove the thick headphone cable. Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure about cable thickness compatibility, since I've never used E3's...but what I did for both my Sharp MD33 and Panasonic RP-HJE50 was pick up a super cheap hands-free cell phone adapter on ebay. Toss out the included earphone -- and you've got yourself a shirt clip.

I use a clip from work, which is normally used to afix ID badges to the shirt or belt loops of the pants. It has a small metal clip (functions and looks very similar to the Ety shirt clip) attached to a plastic looped band that snaps closed. The 'loop' area is too large to hold the earphone cable snugly, so you 'snap' in with it one of those "Quiet Please" foam earplugs you can get at WalMart or anywhere. With the earplug in there, the cable will slide along, but with a little resistance. Perfect for cinching it up in the over-the-ear application - such that you can turn your head in both directions and not feel any 'pull' whatsoever.
